Let’s be real, the first time they actually hung out. Eiji brought along a slice of bread and placed it in her hand. For the heck of it, he probably tried to apply some weight onto the slice by lightly pushing it into her hand.
Whenever they go to self serve cafes, Eiji will always offer to carry the tray of breads. Even if Sakura grabs ONE piece of bread. The other customers around them probably think he’s an idiot for saying the tray might be too heavy for her.
She’s definitely dragged Eiji to cherry blossom viewings even if he’s pretending to suffer from an allergy to stay indoors. He’d probably claim he can see the trees in AR without all the people accidentally bumping into him for photos.
In addition to dragging him along, Sakura would send him a text saying wear something pink! To which Eiji panics and buys dumb pink tinted sunglasses at the train station because all of his clothes are dark.
They have stopped and used many purikura machines whenever they have time. Each time Eiji either looks confused or like a grumpy straight faced guy who just woke up while Sakura is all smiles.
There were a few times Eiji laughed as the machines took photos. Each time he tries to cover up his face with the stickers provided or scratch his face out completely. Sakura just slaps his hand away and continues editing.
Despite looking grumpy and reluctant to be there, Eiji really enjoys hanging out with her and is very protective. He probably carries allergy meds or something in his backpack because he thinks she’s allergic to everything when the seasons change.
When he has to buy her a gift Eiji would stupidly buy her something that smells of cherry blossoms? Because he probably thinks she must spend so much on perfume just to smell like cherry blossoms all the time??? Jokes on you, you dweeb.
Okay but, imagine them going to a haunted house at an amusement park or during a school festival. Every time she freaks out over the jump scares or poorly made ghost costumes Eiji would probably just sigh loudly.
Eiji finding out she can communicate with the dead (reluctantly bc she’s a chicken) and struggling between asking her if she can find a friend for him or pretending to not believe it.
