She was running hard and breathing even harder. Robin dodged a cart in the street, narrowly avoiding a collision with the old woman behind, vaulted over a barrel and was just thinking how pleased she was that she was managing her mad dash when she knocked hard into a young woman, sending them both crashing to the ground. There was barely time to realise what was happening before she was being hauled up by one of the Sheriff's men, who had been her pursuer through the streets of Nottingham. The woman was also being clutched, probably presumed to be one of Robin’s gang, but it didn’t last long as the man’s nose shattered from Robin’s fist. In the next second she had grabbed the stranger’s hand and said, “No time to explain, just run.”
