“does it really?” the female mumbled as she stared at the red button that glared right at her, taunting her to push it ( yet again ). she knew that she would be annoying the nurses but does it really matter? she’s sick and bored, for fuck’s sake. also, she was a patient. could they really get mad at a patient? “well, it’s been two seconds so i’m pushing it again.” a broad grin formed on her lips as she squirmed a bit in place, legs kicking against the mattress as her arm flailed a bit, the other one gripping onto the call light tightly before letting her thumb press the big, flashy red button, hoping to meet a very annoyed nurse.
“What is it you need?” He tries a different question, suppressing a smile at the woman’s impatience. He didn’t know her all that well, but when people were hospitalized that he knew - Taeil went to see them. He’d learned a long time ago that failing in this small way created an opening for fate to rip into his soul and take little pieces of him; the changling tried to appreciate those around him as often as he could.
“Maybe you don’t need a nurse.”
