" I wanted to let you know, I've been trying to find a solution all day." Belle indicated the books spread out on the nearby table.

 “Well, well isn’t this an unexpected surprise~” the imp tittered. A giggle filled the air as he appeared as if out of nowhere behind the pirate. “I hope you’re not thinking to try to kill me again Dearie. Amusing as it is, I have other things I need to occupy my time with.”

 As he asked this, Rumple was gathering up the wares he would be taking to sell in the next village for the next day. It was a long trip to the next village over, but well worth it in the end in his opinion. At least there he could actually sell some wool, yarn, and thread where as he couldn’t from his own village. No one wanted to buy anything from the village coward even if they had money to buy anything with.

It was late in the afternoon one summer day. Belle had only been at the castle for a few months by now, but to say she had grown curious was an understatement. Occasionally , while she was dusting Rumplestilskin's collection, something would catch her eye. And that is what had happened today... a particular jar. Until, of course, she saw him out of the corner of one eye.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you'd returned. Did you need something?"

 “I have a little pirate in me. Avery Rowan Gold. A-R-G. ARG!!”

 “Neal the whole point of having a sibling selfie is for both siblings to be in it..” she groaned as she looked at the picture. 

 “What is it that you’re trying to hide from me Bae?” he asked. His tone wasn’t accusatory, but concerned as he stared down at his son. He seemed to be favoring one leg now though he had been perfectly fine before leaving home. “Did you get hurt? You know I can heal you son, why are you hiding it from me?”
