5. Do they prefer movies or TV shows? Why?
he prefers movies though he’d call them films on occasion to be that sort of pretentious but he liked their compact format. he likes to see that linear transformation of a character within those tight ninety minutes. due to this compact format, he feels more responsible consuming them with a set resolution ( hopefully ) it easier to keep himself from bingeing.
11. Do they like going to museums? What type of museums do they like to go to? Art, science, historical; interactive, quiet, a mix?
he loves going to the museum—he is an appreciator of art, first and foremost. he prefers art museums because historical museums always make him uncomfortable—too many stolen things in a tight space. he feels like history museums are cursed somehow. besides something about a history museum and gazing into the glass displays of stolen artifacts feels fetizishing and corrupt. he enjoys a good interactive museum but they can be overstimulating and trigger an episode.
22. Do they have a favorite restaurant? How often do they go to it, and what’s their usual order?
he loves indian food so his favorite is an indian restaurant called chaiwali. it is a lovely little hole in the wall on a backstreet in the city but he felts its modern atmosphere to bits. he goes there any once a week or more frequently if work is being particularly stressful. he goes there mainly for brunch and eats this vegetarian nana bread sandwich.
25. What do they prefer to do in the summertime? Do they like going to the beach, do they prefer camping, staying in the city? Do they like to stay indoors and away from the heat?
he loves to attend outdoor parties. he does enjoy the beach but the fun tends to be tinged with melancholy as he can’t quite believe sometimes that he can be shirtless at one—in the back of his mind he remembers the dysphoria at the mere thought of a beach so while liberating to go in his present he can’t shake the shame of his past just yet. he doesn’t like that every tourist and their mother seems to come to the city though—it gets too packed sometimes.
