SCAMANDER ( SEVERUS ) @ofheroines
Newt Scamander didnât get angry often. It had no place in his life, between the empathetic creatures in his care and the sweet but easily frightened boy heâd taken under his wing. It was that boy, in fact, that the two men were currently discussing. Newtâs eyes darkened and his stance went rigid. âI wonât.â His voice was rough with barely contained anger. âAnd the fact that you think I should, astounds me. After what you and Dumbledore did to him the last time you had him.â
Severus was at his witâs end. It was bad enough that Albus had sent him on this errand, knowing his feelings where the Potter boy was concerned, but he hadnât anticipated such resistance from the magizoologist.Â
"Professor Dumbledore,â he said smoothly, willfully ignoring Scamander, ârespects you very much, Mr. Scamander, as Iâm certain you know. Heâs willing to pretend this never happened if you cooperate. Need I remind you that kidnapping is illegal, even by Muggle standards?âÂ
He didnât know, & didnât care to know, what Scamander had been blathering on about -- what theyâd done to the boy? Well, he supposed he should take it as a compliment that Scamander thought he was important enough to have any say in what happened to Harry Potter.Â
