It was almost as if someone had, without a shred of forewarning, fired an adrenaline laced arrow into the center of his chest as he stood there, deep hues fixated upon the familiar blonde who stood before him in nothing but a scrap piece of fabric that had been set aside to be used as a towel; and one that left very little to the imagination at that. A state of hyper awareness had started to seep into his bloodstream, it spreading out from the jolt within the middle of his ribcage to gradually infect his system; so much so that he could almost feel each individual hair standing to attention upon the back of his tanned neck, his most vital organ battering the underside of his lungs, the pit of his abdomen twisting itself into unrelenting knots. Never had he doubted her beauty, but seeing her semi exposed, damp enough for the tips of her free hanging locks to drip excess moisture onto the floor of his tent, only proved to heighten how breathtaking she appeared; Bellamy having to consciously clench his jaw to prevent his mouth from instinctively falling open. He was, for all intents and purposes, rendered speechless and it was with nothing more than a mumbled out ‘thanks’ such a fact was brought to light; his deep tone hoarse with desire, all previous moisture that had lubricated his throat having abandoned him when he’d required it most.
