The Baptism of Princess Christine Josephine and Prince Charles of Rothsey was a private affair. Held at the Chapel Royal in Holyrood Palace, the Palace allowed a few journalists to come in and document the event.

First to arrive were godparents to the young Princess and Prince. In a stunning and very untraditional move, there was only one member of royalty amongst the godparents.

First to arrive were the godparents of Prince Charles, Lord Callen MacDonald and Lady Evie McPherson. The couple are long time friends of the Duke and Duchess of Rothsey and recently announced their engagement.

Next to arrive is the godmother of Princess Christine Josephine, Miss Magdalena Quinn. Miss Quinn is accompanied by her boyfriend and rumored fiancé HRH Prince Magnus of Argyll. The former Lunarian Princess is a close friend of the Duchess of Rothsey and has known the Duke since childhood due to her close association with the Pierreland Imperial Family.

Finally is the only royal godparent in the line up is HIH Crown Prince Louis of Pierreland. Crown Prince Louis is the Duke of Rothsey's maternal cousin and has close ties to the Imperial Family of Francesim as well.

Next to arrive are the Imperial Family of Francesim, in particularly TIM the Emperor and Empress of the French and HIM Madame Mere.

They were followed by TM the King and Queen. It appears as if the grandmothers are representing both twins with Madame Mere in the traditional Francesim blue and the Queen in a blush pink ensemble.

Last to arrive, are the Duke and Duchess of Rothsey with the young Princess and Prince seemingly asleep in their parents arms.

First to be baptised is Princess Christine Josephine which was observed by her parents and godparents. Prince Charles appeared to be fast asleep during the affair

When Prince Charles was baptised, the young Princess was seen giggling as her father, kept her entertained. Images from the day were released featuring the full families and their godparents. The family portrait was poinent due to the addition of the photo of the late Napoleon IV, the Duchess's father with whom she was close.

Thank you Kristen!!! I'm going with Eleanor and Ryland, my lovable messy couple. I picked them/love them so much because they have the capacity to be in a beautiful and happy relationship but have this tendency to screw it all up lol.

Ryland finds it adorable that Eleanor snores. She doesn't snore all the time but he doesn't have the heart to tell her that she does.

Eleanor is the only person that Ryland trusts since his mother died. There's certain things that he'll never tell her but she knows more about him than anyone else.

I know I've shared this one before but they still have yet to say the words " I love you" to one another. Eleanor is afraid it will scare Ryland away and Ryland is afraid that Eleanor won't say it back.

I'm also 99% sure I've shared this one but it's worth repeating. Ryland only called Eleanor "princess" when they are on good terms. It's become his term of endearment for her.

I may or may not have had this photo set sitting in my drafts for two years so here’s an extra and belated Mother’s Day post.

A Happy Mother’s Day from the Crown Prince’s Family!

As the foreign guests arrive, they are greeted by Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress. With that, the mingling and activities commence.

While Princess Kaya mingles with Crown Prince Alexios, as they share a few life stories with one another...

... and Prince Joseph shares a few inside jokes with the Duke of Lancastershire. Fun fact: Both Joseph and Hadrian are six years younger than their respective wives. Joseph was born in February 1994 while Whitney was born in November 1987.

Alma: It’s beautiful.

David: (stops playing)

Alma: Oh I’m sorry, I did not mean to startle you. 

David: Not to worry. 

Alma: I didn’t know you played!

David: Yes, I find that music is a great escape for me. I hope you don’t mind I took the opportunity… 

Alma: Oh no, not at all! I don’t come here often enough to play it myself. It was my grandmother’s favourite piano. 

David: You play as well? 

Alma: I do! It’s, as you called it, an escape. I’ve always loved music, one of my real loves… the piano, singing… 

David: Oh, so you sing as well?

Alma: (smiles) Yes… Andrew and I would often sing duets together when we were younger, less so these days. 

David: Well, perhaps someday we’ll all have the chance to play and sing together. 

Alma: That would be so lovely… and had I known you were a fellow music lover I would have arranged for an evening at the opera rather than one of these stuffy state affairs. 

David: I didn’t think it was stuffy. In fact, I rather enjoyed dancing with you. 

Alma: As did I…
