@ofbruces active avoidance was her technique of choice. and really, she had been very successful until halloween (which had been a huge lapse of judgement, but hey, free booze was always a pull), and she had been doing pretty good ever since. sure, the spoiler was routinely our and about kicking ass and taking names and stephanie brown was just kicking ass in the underground fights she’d found....but she had avoided batman and therefore bruce. stephanie had nearly turned around and walked right back out of the bar she’d walked into when she spotted him, freezing like a deer in the headlights and swearing under her breath. this was the only bar in this part of town that didn’t question her id. she’d just finished up a few rounds of a fight, and she wanted a drink before heading home to wrap her knuckles and ice her lip. “come here often? you don’t strike me as the seedy bar type.” stephanie leaned up on the bar in front of her to order her drink. “say anything about my age and i’ll kick you.”
