Unwrapping his burrito, he glances up at Lukas. “...You’re scared of your friends knowing?”

   "this is what you see every night..." the awe was evident in philip's voice as his eyes darted along all of the lights in the sky. there was still light pollution, so the milky way wasn't shining through, but it was more than philip had ever seen before. he wondered how anyone could ever get so used to seeing these every night. "the city lights don't compare to this..." he murmured. "i've only see this many stars in the planetarium. do you know any constellations?"

   a smile curled onto philip's lips as he flagged down a taxi. "aw-- you would do that for me?" he asked quietly. oh, he was so glad that lukas was not there to see the bright red blush that was colouring his cheeks. "you're getting very good at being a great domestic boyfriend. i'm proud of you."

   "‘pretty fucking amazing?’ i wouldn’t say that,“ philip shook his head with a scoff of a laugh. "i also wouldn’t say that i’m not a bad influence, but i’m liking this new character development,” he mused. “it’s nice to see you with relaxed shoulders for once.”

   philip sighed and moved to stand. “yeah, that’s how it feels when you’re sick.” he shook his head and kissed lukas’ forehead. “but you’ll feel better in no time, i promise.” he really shouldn’t promise anything because he really wasn’t the best at nursing people back to help. sure, he had plenty of practice with his mom, but she always seemed to be sick for far longer than the doctors expected. he started on the soup anyway, because he was a good boyfriend and he always liked the idea of having someone make him chicken noodle soup when he was sick.
