Story time children, gather around. Last week, on wensday, my dad left to help some dock mate with a new boat he got somewhere in the Chesepeake, I forget where. It was him, a relatively new boater, a dock mate, a semi-experienced boater, and the buyer, some "old guy" who's, uh, not the brightest. This trip was bad luck central. It was suppose to be three day trip, but with an upcoming storm it was pushed back, and ended up being longer. They hit sand bars, the new boat had to be towed more than twice, storms still came and they had to stay in the same spot for hours or days... In the end, they didnt even make it, they got towed again and gave up, driving home. On the bright side, step-dad apparently had a dolphin friend by the boat for three hours one day. What Dolphin's are doing in the Chesapeake I'll never know.
