And like that, MCASD's Education Team and TAGsters time in Chicago comes to an end. thank you Open Engagement for a great experience for the next generation of activists, agitators, artists, and educators. Sharing and inspiring. The Education Team took two teens to the Open Engagement Conference held in Chicago. These two participated in last year's exciting Teen Advisory Group in partnership with the Tamayo Museum in Mexico City, presented on their experience in the program tackling the theme of violence, trauma, and ways of coping through the lens of art and social practice, in collaboration with their Mexican counterparts in Mexico. An excellent presentation you two!

After a red eye, four hours of sleep, and a walk through the UIC campus, we sit down to converse about food justice over various mushrooms dishes all before noon. MCASD’s Education Department is TAKING OVER TUMBLR as we travel to Chicago for the Open Engagement Conference with two of our veteran teens from the Teen Advisory Group (TAG). Don’t miss a beat.
