i think a lot of it has to do with what each fan is familiar with. personally i didn't know hatchworth when i was first getting into the band, i knew jon, so it took me a while to warm up to the contrast between them.
EEEEEYUP this probably has a lot to do with it. Everyone who’s known me through the fandom for a long time knows that I’ve been partial to Jon for ages. He was my favorite ‘bot, and he’s one of my favorite human beings even now. Me lovin’ the dude can probably contribute to how I feel about Hatchworth too.
