Quoting the writer's statement of Dr. Virginia Connally's life: So often we focus on the disappointments of yesterday or the uncertainties of tomorrow and miss God’s matchless gift to us: Today! Dr. Connally said of her journey with Christ, “As you live a life of faith, you’re not looking for the results. I was just doing the things that God planted in my life and heart. Every tour, trip, effort, I wonder if this will be my last and ultimate? Only God knows. And this is enough.” She live a life of service to God and to others—one day at a time. Source: This Is the Day By David McCasland - ODB April 14, 2016 We most of the time wish life is like a video game, where you can just press pause or end game/game over. Probably hit the reset button, rest then start all over again. You can probably end the game now but the play will never be the same since we're living in a constantly changing and conditional world. Regardless of where life takes us, may we be constantly reminded of our purpose to share the Word and serve others the best we can and without expecting in return. I pray that I may keep up the phases of life living by this purpose - even in despair and hardship - despite the prevailing circumstances of my life.
