After Anakin fails to stop the Sith’s rise to power and the love of his life dies. He is left with his two children to protect from Sidious and the Empire. Now that their galaxy is no longer safe, Anakin decides to leave and venture far beyond the Unknown Regions into the wider universe in hopes of find a safe place to raise his children. He eventually discovers a secluded planet called Earth that is unassuming enough and galaxies away from the influence of the Empire. The small family settles down to live their lives among the planet’s people. But can the peace last or will danger continue to find them.

It all started pretty innocently. Keith and Shiro were on a date at Shiro’s favorite restaurant. Keith immediately excused himself to go to use the restroom, but instead went looking for their waiter. He’d been relieved to find out that Lotor would be the one serving them as they’d always got along pretty well. But what he didn’t know was that there was quite a bit of a (mostly one-sided) rivalry between Shiro and Lotor.

Once Keith tracked Lotor down and spilled his plan, he returned to his seat across from Shiro. The night went on rather smoothly, but by the third basket of breadsticks, Keith started getting nervous. So nervous that he had barely touched his dinner even when Shiro had finished his own plate.

Lotor came back to the table, flashing a casual smile as he set the bill on Shiro’s side of the table.

“Are you forgetting something?” Keith asked sharply, receiving a look from both Shiro and Lotor.

“Oh! Did you want dessert?”

“No! You know what I mean!” Keith shoved away from the table, stepping up to Lotor. “You were supposed to—” but Lotor was just shaking his head and making a face to say he didn’t understand.

“The ring! Where is the ring I gave you?”

Shiro, who’d been quiet up to this point, stood as well, putting a hand on Keith’s shoulder to try and diffuse the situation. “Keith, come on, let’s just go.”

“No! He still has your ring! He was supposed to put it in with the breadsticks, but he didn’t! He just—He—He...” Keith grabbed onto Lotor’s shirt collar as he slammed a hand down into the plate of pasta he’d abandoned, then proceeded to scoop up a fistful of the now cold shrimp and shoved it down into the waiter’s shirt.
