Happy Tuesday! We're gonna revisit and drop some important knowledge on PnP (Plug n Play) LED Kits. In short, they're the worst upgrade you can do to your headlights. More of a safety Concern then anything. They do not perform as good as your halogen headlight bulbs and are no where near the quality and performance of a traditional HID Bulb. Picture attached is of the same car/trim. 2015+ Subaru WRX Base/Premium at a 20 to 25 feet distance away from our wall. All 3 photos are taken between the hours of 12 pm to 1 pm in the afternoon. Top photo is of the PnP LED bulbs. You almost tell that they are on. Middle photo is of the factory halogen bulbs. Already you can tell there's a difference in output & brightness over PnP LED bulbs. Bottom photo is of a MiniD2S v4 Projector retrofit w/5500k HID System at 35watts. You can see a vast improvement in output, widths, & intensity over the other two options. Say no to PnP LEDS. Save a bit more and invest into a proper projector retrofit upgrade. They are worth the investment, all of our customers drive out happy and want there other cars to be on the same level as their new projector Retrofitted headlights. Thanks for reading. Stay tuned.
