Peach and Nick were on a walk in a dangerous part of town. Peach clings onto Nick’s arm as she looks at the gruesome men. They all had their eyes fixed on Peach and Nick, and their eyes were filled with danger. Peach wondered why Nick took Peach here out of all places. Why not the carnival? I like carnvials! o-or the fair?…why here?…why not the pet store and just buy me a puppy! Peach eyes a man who had a dagger in his hand. Peach gulps and clings onto Nick tighter. Nick looked like he belonged here more than Peach did. He had a heavy leather jacket and his black boots with mud stains. His black hair was shaggy but unlike the weirdos in this joint he made it look sexy. Peach bit her lip. Knowing that Nick was beside her and the way he looked made her feel more comfortable. For someone filled with so much evil…he was goregous. Maybe that’s how he got his way into people’s minds…he was manipulative and used his charm. Nick was twisted in so many ways…Peach smiles. But he always helped her! He was always there for her! He was like another Onii-San! He truly was kind! Nick looks down at Peach and he had a fierce look in his eyes. He smirks and nods. He looked very confident today. A large man with tattoos an piercings, then blocked her and Nick’s way. He had a large wagon blocking the other half of the road. The wagon was filled with butchered rabbits and foxes. Peach trembles at the sight of the dead animals. “Excuse me,” Nick says. “Your wagon is in the way and if you could move i-” “Shut it kid!” yells the large man angrily pushing his bandana up. He fixes his sleeveless jacket and looks at the wagon. “I HAVE NO TIME IM DOIN DELIVERIES!” A crowd forms. Nick furrows his brow still trying to keep his cool. “Just move it aside, who gave you the right to claim the whole damn road for your stupid cart?” “N-Nick…” Peach says silently trembling as the man looks at Nick as if he were going to kill him. “AYE KID CUT THE ATTITUDE! I HAVE THINGS MORE IMPORTANT TO DO! YOU WOULDNT REALLY UNDERSTAND CAUSE YA GOT A PETTY LIFE!” the man angrily yells. “I’m petty?” Nick says putting an arm around Peach. “I’m just tryna take my little sister for a sweet walk and your damn wagon is in the way. The petty one here is YOU sir because you decide not to move a mere wagon just because you think we aren’t important!? Tch. It’s more petty to look down on people when you think that you’re their superior but then you’re not,” The man stared at Nick angrily. “Just shut up and walk around the wagon,” he says angrily. “But like I said earlier. THERE IS NO ROOM TO GO AROUND. Tch. Ya know what forget it? You are petty! Wanna know why? Cause I bet you can’t even move the damn wagon with your bare hands!” Nick shakes his head. “C’mon we are going home,” Nick puts an arm around Peach and turns around. “PETTY?! YOU WANT PROOF THAT IM NOT PETTY?!” The man yells after Nick angrily. Nick smiles slyly and turns around. The man pushes the wagon aside making room for people to pass and he jeers at Nick. “Heh heh! Who’s petty now ya mere kid?!” The man asks angrily. Nick walks down the road with Peach and Nick stops after he reaches past the wagon. Peach looks at Nick. Nick looks at the ground and his head droops a little. Nick smiles smugly. “I believe it is the man who’s been fooled by the “mere kid”,” Nick sneers. A few ooohs escaped from the crowd’s mouth. People jeer at the man and applaud Nick. Peach giggles. The man looks at the people angrily and then at Nick. He got on his horse and he left taking his wagon with him. Peach looks up at Nick smiling. Nick grins at her and puts his hand behind his head. He closes his eyes and smirks. “That was so amazing Nick!” Peach giggles. “You’re very witty!” “Nah it just comes outta nowhere! You gotta learn wordplay kiddo or you’re gonna be a doormat,” Nick says grinning at Peach. “Try and being assertive! Try it on me. Don’t worry about my feelings. I got none~” Peach nods. She looks at Nick. She takes a deep breath. “Hey you! U-um GET OUTTA M-MY WAY IM WALKING H-HERE! NOW MOVE!…please…” Peach says trying to be assertive only ending up to be even more adorable. Nick swoons. “Peach that was just adorable and no where near assertive!” Peach stomps her foot. “I’m gonna be a doormat! I don’t want people to walk all over me!…” Peach looks down. “I wanna be tough like everyone in the house!…” Peach looks up. “I wanna be like you. You seem very assertive! Please help me Nick!” “Alright alright!” Nick chuckles. “Hmm…eh…” Nick looks up. “Alright I gotta collect a few souls. Stay here…” Nick walks inside a dark building. Peach gulps. She notices at all the perverted men who stare at her. Peach stood close to the building, and she looks at them in fear. One seemed to be slowly advancing for her. Nick steps out and he quickly turns away. Nick tucks his bloody glove into his back pocket. “Alright le’s go,” Nick grunts. “O-Okay…” Peach says softly. Peach looks around and begins to notice females. They all looked thug and tough. But when Nick passed by they all fixed their eyes on him, not in the way the men stared at him….but in the adoring way. They all seemed to lose their tough touch and began to act like the females they are. Nick chuckles and smiles sexily at a gang of females. They look at him blushing and smile. They nod. Nick perks up as he realizes he caught the eye of men too. They seemed to look at him fiercely but with a touch of admiration. They blush and stare. Nick smiles at them fiercely. Peach looks at Nick in awe. He came here often…maybe all these people see Nick as an idol?…they did applaud and cheer for him when he told off that man…not any regular person who walks in gets applauded. Peach wanted to be idolized too! Peach clenches her small fists. She will be someone that people look up to! ———- Peach and Nick arrived home. An hour later Nick was giving Peach lessons on being assertive. “Alright lets try to be assertive! Keep it tough yet smug! Like as if you know you’re gonna win!” Nick says trying to boost Peach’s confidence. “Nick…we’ve been at this for an hour!…Are you seriously not giving up on me?…” Peach yawns. “I’m not!” Nick says. “Now try again,” “Grrr…?” Peach says innocently. Nick takes a moment to admire her cuteness and then frowns. “You seem tired…go to sleep…I don’t know what I can do…” Nick sighs. Basically he was just telling her. Sorry. You’re hopeless. Peach nods and smiles. “It’s okay! Just get some rest! You look tired too!” Peach skips upstairs. Nick chuckles and flops onto the couch. That kid…she was one of a kind. Peach sits on her bed and yawns. She blinks sleepily, and cuddles under the blanket. Assertive. Assertive…she dozes off…ASSERTIVE.
