This bizarre shaped fish has many very interesting facts about them! They can grow up to 5,000 lbs! They lay more eggs than any other vertebrate animal...roughly 300,000,000. They have been found as deep as 2600 feet. They are voracious predators feeding mostly on jellyfish. I've been very fortunate to have seen quite a few so far and it is always a very positive life changing experience! It's quite incredible to be with such a large and bizarre creature.
