          course the kicker was lounging casually on the couch reading his favourite comic as his boyfriend entered. he sounded grumpy, oh well, that didn’t affect the messenger god at all given he JUST had some cookies *& ice cream. 

            that wasn’t until.. he heard the loud screaming of his name. rolling his eyes, he sat up TALARIA clunking loudly onto the floor as he made his way. leaning against the door frame, a smug look etched his face as he raised an eyebrow.

The low hum of music in his ears did little to drown out the sounds of thunder that shook the room, eyes glancing over to the window every time that lightning flashed across the sky. From there, his gaze would trail to his boyfriend next to him. Neptune had never been fond of storms, and then wasn’t any different. The loudest crack of thunder Sun had heard that night had him sitting a little straighter. He had heard the windows rattle even through his music. The more concerning part was how Neptune latched onto him, practically crushing him.
