#oceanic view

The never ending ticking of a clock, begins to sink into the deep marrows of my heart. Days pass as if they were just tools to allow the boat to rock. The letter I sent you I read on occasion to fill the void keeping us apart. The open air of the oceanic scenery opens my mind to the possibility of seeing you. 

Being with you. Holding you. Everything comes back to you. But do these feeling hold true? I watch as the beams of starlight that fills the horizon’s midline. The way it shines off the water reminds of your kind. The light dim, reminds me,  that for you, the light is no longer caressing your cheek. Your mind finding peace in lucid dreams, exploring what you seek. Exploration? Lust? Sedation?   Trust? Money? Me? I don’t know what you hold true when you dream. Do you dream of our future? Our past? 

Is there anything I can gleam from something as imaginative as a dream? 

I grow curious. 

I wanna know your touch. I want to know what makes you furious. I want to know so much. Yet i know that the lapping of time and waves keeps us at odds. Opposites in all ways but one. I am a prisoner, stuck with the daily broads. While you are free to run.
