So the Senate “vote" from last night from last night was ruled void, DOMA is found unconstitutional, and Prop 8 will not be upheld in the State of California. This is a time to celebrate, but we can’t let it stop here.

There are atrocities happening in Greece right now that make me sick to my stomach, and like the filibuster last night, the actions of a corrupt few are keeping the news from spreading worldwide. The world that I want to see in the future, humanity united as one, will never come to pass if we accept out own lives as improved and do not fight to right very real, very disgusting wrongs happening beyond our front doors.
We can be a voice for good, for right, for change. Last night in Texas ordinary people proved that if we scream loud enough and hard enough, we have the power to stand against corruption, to be heard and listened to an obeyed. I will not live in a world where this is ever allowed to happen; I refuse.
There is no “good enough". There is only good and we have to be a force for that.
Get the word out. Raise awareness.
