          I’ll  break  this  down  as  quickly  as  I  can ,  fair  warning,  some  muses  converse  with  one  another  as  their  stories  interlock.  Either  way,  you  have  a  plethora  of  interactions  to  kick  off for cyberpunk friends.

     Gōjo  Itsuki:  the  oldest  muse  on  the  roster  in  general,  comes  from  an  elite  family  that  has  connections  spawning  generations  back  with  Arasaka,  graduated  early  with  highly  prestigious  marks.  He  is  not  a  prodigy  but  was  considered  ambitious,  cunning,  ruthless  enough   to  fully  integrate  into  pharmaceuticals.  Very  old  method  of  corporate  loyalty,  never  worked  for  any  other  organization,  briefly  had  a  stint  after  medical  school  of  owning  his  practice  yet  quickly  became  bored.  Notorious  in  NC  for  his  ruthless  nature,  cares  only  for  the  final  result,  he  has  a  hand  in  the  production  of  the  original  relic  &  soulkiller’s  beta  version.  Prefers  anonymity  using  digital  masks  in  order  to  conceal  his  facial  features,  augments  his  voice  to  be  disembodied  or  tamper  with  audio  equipment,  if  you  need  the  very  best  in  medicine  or  a  surgeon  with  no  ethics  who  can  assure  survival,  he  is  the  best  &  worse.

     Gōjo  Satoru:  prodigal  son,  raised  within  the  elite  academy’s  Arasaka  owned,  a  runner  that  hasn’t  been  seen  in  years.  Itsuki’s  only  child  who  would  have  inherited  the  family’s  wealth,  power,  and  social  standing.  Died  relatively  young,  though,  not  to  worry!  His  body  is  cloned,  the  vats  are  kept  in  the  Badland’s  certified  by  Biotechinca.  First  victim  or  trial  runner  of  the  relic  prototype,  when  realizing  Satoru’s  body  was  off,  he  ran.  Far  into  the  net,  far  away  from  home,  now  he  works  in  Kabuki  selling  cyberdecks  in  his  own  niche  of  Night  City.  A  dead  man  that  isn’t,  his  route  conjoins  with  Phantom  Liberty  to  enable  access  beyond  the  Black  Wall.  Satoru’s  essences  haunt  NC’s  landscape,  a  digital  eldritch  horror  show  that  continuously  breaks  from  the  human  experience  to  transcend  higher.        Xiomara  the  Starlet:  former  bar  singer  from  Heywood,  notoriously  known  in  the  community  for  her  giving  spirit,  naturally  a  defiant  woman  that  some  would  say  was  a  rocker  girl.  Ended  up  marrying  a  record  label  CEO,  after  his  death,  she  essentially  went  missing.  Rumors  emerged  she  ended  up  in  a  cult  in  Pacifica,  or  she  just  vanished,  escaping  the  maw  of  NC.  Her  story  is  somewhat  muddled  as  she  returns  five  years  later,  fully  chromed,  contracted  with  a  production  studio  that  remains  a  subsidy  to  an  entertainment  conglomerate.  Works  alongside  El  Capitan  in  giving  back  those  around  her  in  an  odd  mannerism,  known  for  her  small  but  rabid  following  of  fans,  she’s  had  several  major  public  scandals  involving  arguments  with  Lizzy  Wizzy.  Should  you  need  bikes,  medicine,  or  maybe  a  pet  iguana  -  she  is  the  woman  to  call.  High  earning  jobs  with  high  danger.  Still  a  musician  at  heart,  she  is  credited  on  various  records  under  the  alias  ‘Sunny’  or  ‘The  Lady’.       Taniguchi  Isamu:  Militech’s  new  PR  representative,  nefariously  known  for  his  flamboyance,  alternative  yet  glamorous  style,  stripped  away  the  over  masculine  persona  the  company  relied  on.  Coined  the  term  quiet  elegance  when  one  thinks  of  Militech,  industrial,  sleek,  deadly  efficient,  constantly  seen  smoothing  out  any  arguments  between  other  corps.  Known  for  his  languid  charisma,  lazy  nonchalant  manner  of  speaking,  don’t  let  that  fool  you.  Lost  his  right  arm  due  to  his  pension  for  adrenaline,  seeking  any  vice,  which  included  a  few  office  affairs  were  his  department  was  taken  over  in  a  hostile  encounter.  His  arm  is  considered  custom  &  specifically  designed  solely  to  fit  his  needs,  reflecting  porcelain  while  hand  made  by  his  father,  Magnus.  Rumored  to  burn  off  steam  via  illegal  racing,  far  more  easy  going  than  he  portrays  himself  to  be,  blessed  with  a  silver  tongue  that  gets  him  out  of  trouble.  The  most  friendliest  of  the  group,  currently  having  an  affair  with  Zenin  Naoto  that  spawns  over  10+,  the  two  do  not  discuss  it  while  keeping  their  meetings  secret,  except,  they  seem  to  hold  identical  mannerisms,  tattoos,  and  similar  aesthetics. 

     Stuart  ‘2D’  Pot:  former  indie  sleaze  royalty,  started  out  working  at  Cherry  Blossom  Market  selling  equipment  for  runners,  BD  enthusiasts,  rare  sodas  from  overseas.  Persistently  sought  after  by  The  House  of  Kong  (subsidy  of  WNS)  for  their ethereal  look  that  collided  with  their boyish  nature,  originally  from  Sussex,  England.  Came  to  Night  City  with  their  ex-girlfriend  Paula  on  the  pretense  of  becoming  a  vocalist,  solo  or  in  a  group.  Considered  useless  when  it  comes  to  netrunning,  quick  hacks,  writing  or  breaking  code,  though  a  musical  genius  who  had  brief  cameos  in  friends  BD’s  for  their  videos  gaining  a  small  following.  They  were  slowly  being  groomed  by  the  House  of  Kong  in  order  to  sign  the  contract,  sought  by  a  particularly  odd  relic  of  Johnny  Silverhand’s  era  who  posed  as  an  agent,  someone  that  cared  for  Stuart.  Ends  up  in  a  multicollision  car  crash  that  breaks  their  neural  structure,  orbital  socket,  sustaining  traumatic  injuries.  Vanished  essentially  for  five  months,  the  House  of  Kong  paid  for  Stuart’s  new  optics,  hence  the  all  black  eyes,  slowly  molded  them  into  the  image  that  is  commonly  seen,  neon  blue  hair,  tall,  gaunt,  thin  wraith. 

     Stuart  breaks  up  with  Paula  after  finding  her  cheating,  the  argument  is  explosive  outside  of  Club  Riot,  they  finally  sign  the  contract  becoming  locked  in  as  the  House  of  Kong’s  ‘angel’.  Indebted,  captured,  their  fame  rises  dramatically  in  NC  but  is  hardly  seen  due  to  the  chronic  pain  they  suffer,  it’s  easier  to  find  them  at  night  in  synth  music  clubs,  no  pulsating  bass,  just  a  soft  vibration  like  a  heartbeat.  Considered  a  heavy  opioid  user,  wildly  adored  for  the  innocence,  frailty,  but  punkish  spit-fire  mannerism  that  nonchalantly  expresses  disdain  or  disliking.  Tends  to  ‘lag’  when  they  speak  as  their  tech  is  considered  two  to  three  gens  behind  in  order  to  not  fry  their  neural  pathways.  Fixer  commonly  found  at  Dark Matter  with  an  incredible  amounts  of  street  credit  for  reliability,  high  pay,  friendliness,  although  most  admit  Stuart  feels  ‘cursed’  or  ‘trapped'.  Working  with  them  is  a  one  &  done  thing. 

     Zenin  Naoto:  Arasaka  ‘eraser’  a  fancy  term  used  to  merely  imply  one  of  many  assassins.  Runs  his  own  division  that  collides  with  personal  security,  considered  ruthless,  smug,  sharply  elegant  in  all  mannerisms.  Modest  but  lucratively  expensive  tech  that  optimizes  efficiency.  The  Zen’in  Clan  are  historically  known  to  breed  bodyguards  that  tend  to  the  Arasaka  family’s  inner  mechanism,  though  they  are  dwindling  in  popularity  due  to  their  own  in-fighting.  Naoto  was  essentially  snubbed  to  protect  Hanako  Arasaka  a  slight  his  family  did  not  forget  but  cannot  defend  or  attest  considering  their  social  status  is  everything,  while  it  hangs  on  a  threshold,  Naoto  often  states  to  be  done  whatsoever  with  the  hubris  of  his  kin. 

     As  he  sits  between  the  youngest  &  eldest  child,  he  seems  to  hold  far  more  autonomy  over  himself  than  the  rest  of  his  own.  Perhaps  the  most  efficient  killer  as  he  prefers  stealth  over  brute  violence  &  strength.  Noted  to  appear  older  in  personality  despite  his  true  age,  constant  dry  wit,  humor,  commonly  seen  in  Charter  Hills  or  Watson  during  Isamu’s  gigs  or  Totentanz.  Even  when  disarmed,  it  is  never  advised  to  speak  with  Naoto  in  nonchalance,  he  is  constantly  searching  for  a  weakness.  Strangely,  the  most  palatable  Zenin  one  can  run  into.  Mentions  in  passing  his  eldest  cousin,  Toji,  works  for  Trauma  Team  though  they  have  a  strange  understanding  should  the  two  encounter  one  another,  instant  death.

     Fushiguro  Toji:  An  anomaly  that  was  scorned  from  the  start,  methodical  in  brute  violence  to  the  point  it  is  nearly  a  secondary  nature  of  speaking,  left  the  family  after  his  mother’s  death.  Worked  as  a  parttime  merc  for  sometime,  though,  the  jobs  were  naturally  those  that  included  direct  hits.  Notoriously  known  for  sabtouge  &  dealing  with  runners  that  believed  their  skills  were  above  human  experience.  The  third  eldest  of  a  plethora  of  Zen’in  cousins,  considered  the  nephew  of  Naobito,  doesn’t  bother  with  his  older  brother  whatsoever.  Tried  to  manage  his  life,  ended  up  working  Trauma  Team  particularly  night  shifts,  somewhat  of  an  enigma  Naoto  has  pointed  out  is  another  better  option  when  speaking  to  a  Zen’in  although,  Fushiguro  will  flat  out  denounce  his  former  surname.  Noted  to  enjoy  money,  gambling,  fighting,  chaotic  as  he  is  free  in  every  respect.  Still  can  seamlessly  fit  into  the  living  weapon  stance,  even  delights  in  it,  another  former  noble  with  subtle  cybernetics. 

        𝐍𝐚𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐙𝐞𝐧'𝐢𝐧 (visual concepts // short bio): When  one  thinks  of  inheritance,  they  think  of  possessions,  wealth,  but  for  Naoto  he  dreamed  of  a  higher  standing.  A  child  of  shadows  that  was  born  into  the  Zen’in  Clan,  the  middle  of  Naobito’s  sons,  he  knew  from  an  early  age  to  contend  &&  show  his  worth  amongst  the  many  who  would  try  to  grab  his  birthright.  Devoted,  skilled,  loved,  he  would  spend  his  early  years  in  the  arms  of  his  mother  who  sated  each  emotional  need  the  fragile  boy  held.  In  return,  he  gave  her  unwavering  devotion,  agonizing  through  the  grueling  militaristic  training  boys  of  the  Zen’in  clan  would  endure  for  a  shred  of  glory.  Within  his  early  20’s,  Naoto  was  given  a  chance  to  lead  the  Hei  with  his  older  brother  for  whom  he  would  never  stray  from,  never  would  he  think  the  usurper  would  be  by  blood.  Stripped  of  his  social  standing,  he  was  deemed  a  useless  son,  too  gaudy,  too  flashy,  too  much  of  everything  &&  the  small  but  quaint  world  of  his  was  shattered. 

    A  loveless  marriage  while  thrust  into  intel  gathering,  Naoto’s  life  was  void,  hollow,  he  was  free  to  pursue  whatever  he  wanted  -  nothing  mattered  anymore.  Spiteful  to  the  very  end,  he  would  support  his  younger  brother’s  claim  as  the  heritor  of  the  Zen’in  Clan  solely  because  it  was  willed.  A  man  that  strived  for  structure,  tradition,  a  relic  of  yore,  all  he  had  was  a  faithful  attendant  that  would  not  leave  him  even  in  his  sorrow  &&  madness.  Now,  in  his  older  years,  he  still  stands  a  formidable  opponent,  lurking  within  the  shadows  &&  slaughtering  his  enemies  in  a  precision  that  a  sword  would  be  envious  of.  A  nothing  soul  that  wanders  the  ancestral  land,  a  wolf  without  claim,  ever  hungry  &&  ever  in  pursuit. 

            𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐮 𝐉𝐚̈𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧 (visual aesthetics // bio):  Born  in  Linköping,  Isamu’s  life  was  an  oddity  from  the  start.  The  völva  heard  the  choir  of  the  dead,  from  the  quiet  stillness  of  a  home  by  the  sea,  they  sang  to  him  &&  he  listened.  At  five  years  old,  Isamu  would  recognize  the  life  he  led  was  that  of  an  oddity,  between  two  worlds  he  was  pulled  apart.  The  Järvinen Family  celebrated  life  in  colors,  they  believed  that  the  soul  resides  in  the  vessel  -  artists  who  used  their  imagery  within  their  cursed  techniques. 

      Puppeteers  who  maneuvered  curses  with  a  precision,  though  they  never  harmed  &&  showed  Isamu  cruelty  only  begets  more  cruelty,  try  to  be  a  positive  force  in  this  existence.  While  the  Taniguchi  family  hailed  from  Yokohama,  they  were  notorious  for  their  servitude  under  the  King  of  Curses  in  the  Heian  Era,  only  the  strong  shall  survive  in  their  eyes.  Pulled  away  from  his  home  in  Sweden,  Isamu  would  live  with  his  biological  mother  in  Kyoto  as  she  established  numerous  world  renowned  restaurants  &&  boasted,  all  that  mattered  was  might.  From  there,  he  would  meet  a  beloved  friend  that  one  would  say  was  the  shadow  to  his  sunlight.

    The  former  Zen’in  Heir,  Naoto,  dedicating  his  life  to  an  unloved  soul,  Isamu  held  the  belief  that  if  he  could  comfort  one  wretched  being  -  then  his  own  existence  had  merit.   Surprisingly,  the  boy  excelled  in  his  studies  at  Kyoto  Tech  &&  easily  could  have  skyrocketed  into  Semi-Grade  One.  Instead,  Isamu  saw  no  usage,  he  only  wished  to  help  heal  the  broken  hearts  that  were  fed  into  the  meat  grinder  of  jushiki  society.  As  one  of  the  managers  of  Kyoto  Tech,  his  administration  duties  brought  him  great  joy,  to  understand  students  &&  use  his  abilities  as  a  medium  for  something  positive  allowed  him  to  forget  the  sorrow  that  followed  him  since  youth.

𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑵𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑮𝑳𝑶𝑹𝒀; 𝑻𝑺𝑼𝑲𝑼𝒀𝑶𝑴𝑰

      The benevolent guidance of the soft pale silver moon, Tsukuyomi. Lovingly referred to as ‘Tsuyu’ by his twin, the scornful sun whom he adored more than anything in this world, for the two are half of a whole that shall bind together to create the cosmos. A child that once was born from a mirror amongst a sleepy coastal village that in the fire, flames, ravages of conquest lost his home. Fearful, the moon rabbit tried as he could to protect his younger sibling, unaware she grew more powerful than he could && the distance between caused him agony. Those who followed His Majesty would never know the kin who spit such putrid blood out in fear, anything of meat, flesh, caused a panic to stir && for it, his heart would remain pure, affixed on chronicling the legacy of a dying light that would be swathed in his gentleness. Tsuyu, an impeccable man with sleepy jade green eyes, who speaks in a melodic fashion && grants the unwanted a place to hide. Though forced to be apart from the other half of his soul, he is the romantic of the pair, speaking poetry && music, obsessed with all that is living, a merciful creature in his soft light.

Key attributes

another name: due to Tsukuyomi trying to preserve what was left of his cultural background after Yhwach’s conquest, he tends to use ‘Tsuyu’ than allow for his true name to be spoken. The only person who utters it with full respect aside from his sibling is Jugram ( @antinomos ). He will easily become irritated if anyone underneath his station dares to speak it, invoke his former title, it is dear && precious to him.

shifting tides: Prone to melancholy, irritability, restless nature, Tsukuyomi is hailed as the twin with too much water in him. He is full of turmoil despite his composure, he does not mimic the same icy nature as his twin who holds her emotions like a sword, Tsukuyomi bleeds what he feels, even in his earnest attempts to conceal it he is known for his passionate, even animated way of being.

lover to none: a romantic by heart, it is common for Tsukuyomi to have ‘favorites’ from who he indulges in. In other verses, he is known for his consorts who all enjoy his company but agree, he cannot be tied to anything. A beating heart that lives solely to love or be in love, he is considered flighty by his twin for having such naive mannerisms. Oddly, this makes him quite attractive as he is not one to shy away from proclaiming his delight around others or flirting merely to pass the time, he is charismatic, playful, sweet.

physical attributes: like his twin, Tsuyu is known for his eye color as they both inherited it from their dear father. Unlike her own which tend to be a forest green, Tsukuyomi has a pale jade green granting him a cosmic nature. He has a crooked smile due to the nature of his teeth that is considered charming with a beauty mark at the left side of his lip. Long soft lashes with fluffy black hair for which he pulls haphazardly into a half bun or braid. He constantly appears to look sleepy with a warm peach complexion, the twins also share a plethora of freckles && smaller stature as Tsukuyomi only stands at 5’6. As he ages, his facial features become sharper taking on the formation of his mother’s, high cheekbones with a sharp nose but weak chin just like his sibling.

In all verses Tsukuyomi is a strict vegan, he does not like the taste of blood or meat, it makes him squeamish as he cannot stand hunting whatsoever. His sister has indicated Tsukuyomi would weep even when a fish was speared, he is good for collecting oysters, clams, anything of the such but pathetic for hunting large game.

Skilled in handling pole arms, his lance is sought after && considered an extension of his body. It is an incredibly beautiful weapon that matches his persona, he finds swords tedious, even boring, while keeping a small needle dagger on him at all times to never be caught off guard.

Avid collector of vintage kimono, his collection is small but worth a great sum, he can be found lounging about lazily whenever he is not called on. Tsukuyomi has a sloth-like personality, he prefers to sleep in while lounging about, much to his twin’s dismay. 

Murdered another simply on the basis of being rude to him, he has an odd obsession with table manners, being polite, it is the one thing to provoke violence in him. This gained him an extraordinary amount of trouble to which he waves off, it is one of few ‘quirks’.  Despite being a loyal lover, to spurn him is to know his ire, he finds it utterly disrespectable && does not tolerate such transgressions against him.

Dragon Age: Chevalier of Orlais, like his sister, he gave himself over in hopes their social standing could be granted a higher mark. The two are from an outskirt village in the countryside, thus, they speak with a more ‘rural’ or ‘rustic’ twang in their voices desperately covered up with an overly perfect way of pronunciation. Like his kin, he tends to uphold his honor, valor, loyalty to Orlais with a great depth, though he often doubts Andraste despite being the sibling to ‘Andraste’s mouthpiece’ he has never actively shown this side except for Dragon Age Inquisition during the Winter Palace.

Baldur’s Gate: Child of Bhaal, lowly male drow, oathbreaker. The twins are considered one soul thus, Bhaal’s favoritism goes in equal ways, they are not viewed as separate entities. Customary to most male drow, Tsuyu understands his station && insists respect to his younger sister despite both of them living on the surface since childhood. Whatever decision one makes, the other shall follow, thus their ending is combined - it varies.

𝐕𝐀𝐑𝐕𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐋 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐑

Estimated to be around 300 years old, comes from a small minor family in the Soul Society, he was known for his studious nature during his academy days && exceptional skills in swordsmanship. Though, Isamu also showed he lacked drive, self esteem, or confidence to fully prevail despite his talents.

Surprisingly, he went on to become vice captain to the Third Division where he showed a strong sense of leadership. Due to Isamu’s high empathy, he was able to create deeper bonds with those underneath his supervision && showed a firm sense of guidance.

Isamu’s Zanpakuto takes the shape of a giant war ax branded as Hel, he can wield it with great ease && fluidity. Meanwhile, his bankai plays on the depths of the endless nights in winter, though it is seldom seen until the Thousand Year Blood War. 

His downfall due to the nature of the third division is love; it is the greatest poison as he is loyal to a fault. Allowing all he adores to consume him, drown him, while inspiring that dreadful melancholy to fester. His spiritual energy is known to come with a deep anguish thus making it feel akin to sinking in the vast ocean, a cold that curls around the bone, penetrating deep.

Hollowification is a rather unsettling topic for him, the exile into the world of the living was grueling, though he learned to live with the treachery && banned from all he ever knew, it still took a deep toll on him. There is a sense he is deeply resentful which he politely requests to not speak on his own personal emotions to the soul being bridged with that of a hollows.

His appearance is also altered, as vice captain, he would braid one lock of blonde hair while beading it with silver && keeping it more wavy. As a vizard, Isamu wears his hair parted in the middle, pin straight, slowly enjoying the modern fashion trends && eventually falling into body modification through tattooing. During the Thousand Year Blood War, he dyes his hair a soft rose gold color, granting him an illusion of a dream that one manifests in the throws of delirium - Isamu never ceases to be a romantic even in tragedy.

Works as a mechanic in Karakura town, he is commonly seen at the Shoten purchasing manga or snacks, still has a deep love for anything that gets his adrenaline going even remarking the world of the living is very exciting once he got past his aversion && use to manipulating a gigai. It was eerie to him at first though, he quickly learned to navigate the artificial body.

*This portion is simply for his story progression, no one needs to write this nor is it being implied on any canon, if one wishes to thread this storyline I am more than happy to oblige. Isamu was deeply fascinated by Rose, his emotions teetering on romantic, even to this day he finds the man to be simply stunning in every sense of the word though would not resume his position as vice-captain believing Kira deserves it more than he ever could hope for.
