With my bar au on track to post soon, I wanted to do a throwback to all the moodboards/artwork of Rhea thats been created by some amazing artists! This has been such a fun ride so far writing her and I'm so glad you all have enjoyed reading about her ❤

Captain Rhea Hawthorne (outer worlds OC)

1. List 3 things you like about your OC

-Her adaptability to any situation from beginning to end.

- She’s very kind and loyal and will protect the new family she has found.

- Her smarts and eventual dedication to making sure both she and the crew take care of themselves. Living in Halcyon is hectic and she doesn’t want them to go insane.

2. List 3 things the other characters like about your OC

- She listens without judgement, though if you are being an idiot she will be honest about that too.

- She’s willing to go along with most ideas no matter how hair-brained they are. She makes sure they come back alive at least.

- The fact that she is willing to help others and do the right thing, even if it can be challenging and not an easy decision.

3. List 3 things your OC carries all the time

- Her mother’s wedding ring. It’s the only thing she has left of her parents. She always wears it around her neck on a long chain.

- Purpleberry munch. Felix got her addicted to them and they are a good snack to have in a pinch.

- Probably a clean rag. They have to fight so often and be out in the wild that she needs something to keep at least her face clean.

4. List 3 things your OC does in their free time

- She likes to sing when she is relaxing or will stretch/dance because doing that relaxes her. Just not always because she gets shy in front of the crew.

- Watch serials with Felix and Parvati. She also watches tossball with Felix and Max but mainly to spend time with Felix as she never learns how tossball works.

- Nap. She loves taking naps.

5. List 3 strong points of you OC

- She gets really good at faking it when it comes to being charismatic even though internally she is freaking out 98% of the time.

- She is able to bond with all of the crew, even Ellie. She understands their unique needs and is able to become friends with all of them.

- She learns to handle herself well in a fight but will always try to use her words to solve a situation.

6. List 3 flaws of your OC

- She is very stubborn over certain things so it can sometimes be challenging to get her to change her mind.

- Her kindness also leads to her putting others needs before her own and the crew often times has to remind her to not push herself so far.

- She bottles up her feelings. Being adaptable also means sometimes having to push aside the fear and panic until it bubbles over and she has a break down.

7. List 3 physical traits of your OC

- She has green eyes and pink hair that she will wear in a long braid over her shoulder.

- She is tall with an athletic build.

- She loves to wear comfortable loose clothing while on the Unreliable.

8. List 3 people your OC loves the most

- Parvati because she is the first friend she ever made in Halcyon. They become best friends and Rhea comes to regard her as a sister.

- Felix as they do eventually get together. She was a bit thrown off by his clueless but steadfast dedication towards his ideals and he helped her learn to relax and not take so many things so seriously.

- Max. He’s that self-righteous friend she never asked for but would never want to be without. She can have deeper conversations with him about life and what is happening in Halcyon. She’s also not afraid to give him a piece of her mind if he’s being an ass.

9. List 3 food/drink items your OC eats the most

- Purpleberry munches. Perfect as it can get blend of sweet and salty.

- Mock apples. As close as she can get to a healthy food.

- Tarmac and cheese. Mac and cheese was a comfort food for her back on Earth and she’ll take what she can get.

Captain: Mysterious fucker that I made for a post apocalyptic setting and never really went anywhere with. They wear a respiratory mask that conceals most of their face and have a huge forehead tattoo and perennially plaited hair because of the environment. They arent much given to talking but had a mental breakdown in their past with dire consequences that they worked to hide.

Satya-La: Pure bean from a fantasy setting. She grew up reading fantastical books about heroes and villains and decided she was going to be one despite having almost no physical prowess and only a keen eye for good books. She was adopted by a supportive family who lost their own son to adventuring so they weren't too keen on her going. She went anyway. Believes way too much in the good of people, to a fault.

Quesalasoronai: This one is ANCIENT; I made her back in 2009? Anyway. She is completely blind and serves as the guardian of a desert realm. That's it. That's all I got on her. I can see her face and her general lonely but stoic disposition but the rest is ????

His nickname is Leo, his sister alled himi like that, and after the ccllapse when she dicd hc told evcrycnc who closc to him call him Leo.
