Hoo boy.
Okay, confession time. I’m not an artist, at all. Not by any stretch of the imagination. I can occasionally hack it, but that just makes me less of an artist and more of a hack.
Before I got my tablet (hell, still a lot of times now), what I did is go through my collection of stock photography/reuse-allowed images and splice together little bits and pieces, and then photoshup over them until everything looks decent.
There’s a lot of magic to be had in silhouettes, stretching, warping, and fancy lights.
Here’s the final result now. Looks really nice.
The .psd is about 16 megabytes. Bloody hell, that’s a LOT of layers, effects, and little snips and pieces. What all is in there?
Well, when I photoshup stuff, I have a tendency to duplicate things if I make even the slightest change to them. So, scrolling all the way down to the bottom-most layers, disabling all of the effects, disabling the overlays, the lights, and the silhouettes, what do we get?
