Doctor Who is honestly the most brilliant show. It's cheesy. The special effects are mostly pretty not good. But think about it. Think about the characters, and how much they change and stay the same and leave you with something.
How Rose and the Doctor were always the ones, until Rory and Amy and River Song.
Think about The Silence and The Weeping Angels. Do you know what's amazing about those two? You HAVE to look at them. Don't blink. You have no choice but to look your fear directly in the face (well, not in the eyes obviously.) Same with the silence. You HAVE to look at them.
I mean I dunno it's just a sci fi show but honestly, It's pretty brilliant.
