Trying something a little different. Completely winging #walkwothanubis by @ptcmacarthur on the 30th at the @camdenvalleyinn . Then on Feb 6th I have thrown myself into the @gpcaustralia Hunter Classic in the Novice division, my first experience in a 3 lift powerlifting format, under GPC rules. With #OBLITER8 and the #backyardhighlandgames under our belts already, these will make 4 comps in 5 weeks. Looking forward to a massive year with #nswstrongestman , #ASANationals and then @officialstrongman_ #officialstrongmangames to contest the state, national and world masters titles! So new years eve for @bigbirdstrongwoman and I was not exactly spent in the typical fashion. We competed at the #OBLITER8 Strongman Trials hosted by our friends @carlsherry and @camilla_fogagnolo at @leviathan.strength Lifts in order 135kg Axle Press comp PB 430kg Yoke 15m 120kg Log 105kg Farmers 15m 300kg Deadlift 420kg Silver Dollar Deadlift PB 75kg MDB =comp PB 160kg Atlas Stone (no vid) I was happy the 170 was moving well but I simply lost my grip and at that stage of the day was too cooked to pick it again. This was a brutal day, starting at noon and last lift just after 9pm. Huge thanks to the whole crew of lifters, helpers and spectators, making for an awesome day with one of the best vibes for any comp I've competed at.
