Obito, of course, is a bit of a special case when it comes to Valentine's day. First she gets him a little aloe plant in a pot, and a custom box of homemade chocolates! "I figured a potted plant lasts longer than cut flowers, ne? And this one can be useful! I, uh, might have named it Zetsu." As evident by the name tag stuck on the pot. And last but not least, she hands him a little box. Inside is a positive pregnancy test. Smiling tearily, Ryū manages to murmur, "Happy Valentine's day, koi."
With a small blush tinting his cheeks, Obito takes the small aloe plant and the chocolate. It's such a good idea, buying a potted plant! And the chocolates will obviously be delicious, he'll share them. A grin grows on his lips at the plant's name. Zetsu! "That's so sweet, Ryu, thank you..." Obito says softly, setting his presents on the table.
He lifts a brow at the third one, frowning slightly. Ryu is going a bit overboard now, isn't she? Well... He won't complain, he loves her gifts. Opening the small box, Obito is at first confused, his brain not realising immediately what this thing is. But when it hits him, when he sees the little symbol on it, the hair of his entire body raise in a shudder of shock.
Eyes wide, he blinks, squint at it, glance at Ryu to see her reaction, glance back at the thing. When the realisation of what was really happening finally sank in, Obito shakily puts the box on the table. "Ryu...!!" His features tremble as his emotions become overwhelming, Obito begins to cry. He cries grossly. He's going to be a father!
Pulling Ryu into his arms for a big hug, Obito can't form coherent words. They've been trying for so long! He tried so many weird tricks, ate strange things, even put ice on his genitals with the hope of being fertile enough to conceive. He was begining to lose hope, and then! It's happening! "Ryu, I'm so happy... We will be parents..." He mumbles into her neck. "I'll be a father... I love you..!"

Jiraya was nearly killed, not directly by him, but indirectly by his doings during the build-up of his final goal a year ago. So of course, a diner with him and his daughter, which he’s dating right now, is always awkward. And of course, an emergency at the hospital had to take Ryu away from their little ‘family’ reunion, leaving Obito alone with her father Jiraya.
Taking a nervous sip of his sake, Obito glances at the sanin’s plate, not brave enough to look at his face. “So... Are you planning to write another book of your famous series?”

“Ryu... I know I said I didn’t want to... But I changed my mind.” He’s not too stressed, he’s confident enough, he already knows her answer. But he’ll ask the traditional way anyway. Getting down on one knee, Obito gently takes hold of her hand, pressing a kiss on it.
“Ryu.. Will you marry me?” It’s then that he takes out a ring from his pocket, it’s a wooden ring with a little diamond on it. He’s not rich enough for anything else, and he knows Ryu likes natural things so she won’t hate it... Well, he hopes.
With Ryū away to tend to a pressing surgery, Obito has been left with the toddler. It’s currently lunchtime, and Reiji has decided to play at being fussy. Refusing his baby food spoon, he’s also taken to tossing anything on his highchair tray to the floor. It’s funny to watch Obito pick everything back up, so of course he’ll keep throwing them! Giggling, he gives a cheeky grin, hands clapping.
Sighing, Obito picks up yet another of Reiji's toys from the floor, along with a bunch of cheerios. He sets them away this time, the baby won't eat his food without throwing everything on the floor! "Reijiii come on!"
He takes the bowl of baby food and presents a fullspoon of it to Reiji's lips. "Why don't you eat, silly baby, hm? Oh buh oui you silly baby~ oh buchubuchu!" Here he goes, baby talking with his baby again, the food from the spoon now all smeared over Reiji's stubborn closed mouth.
Obito still loves him so much...
