Please, Fubuki-san, run away before it's too late!
"Oh come now... it can't be that bad!..... Can it...?" Now he was perhaps a little more worried. Though.... he'd had to survive on other foods previously.... maybe it wouldn't be as bad as that...? He.. really wasn't sure he had the heart to turn the blond down now...

Sweet, gentle Luca. Already the white dragon felt happy in the little girl's presence. "Hello, little Luca."

Kazama crouched down and greeted the familiar green-haired girl. "Hi, Luca. On your way home from school?"

"Shh," she murmured against the crown of his head. "Just focus on breathing for now. Try to match your breaths to mine."
Luca kept herself calm, breathing slowly in and out so that he could match her tempo. She had been given quite a start, waking up to him shouting beside her, but her own panic had been tossed aside instantly when she’d seen him hurting like that. A memory that hurt him so badly it caused that much pain—she could close her eyes and know it in a second.
She, too, had seen the fearsome might of Ccapac Apu, after all. She had felt the tremors left by its fury. She was lucky that she hadn’t had to face that frightening creature, instead battling another.
Quietly, to calm him further, Luca hummed a lullaby—one that she knew from the world of spirits, a gentle tune sung by the fairies. She didn’t know the words herself, but the melody was slow and simple enough that perhaps it would slow the rapid beating of Kiryu’s heart.
He swallowed his spit loudly and nodded lightly. He tried to calm down, to match his breaths with hers, just like she said. It wasn't easy, not in the slightest, but slowly he stopped shaking, the tears stopped running down his cheeks too.
But he was still holding onto her, with his face burried into her chest and fingers clutching at the fabric of her shirt. And it didn't seem like he was going to let go off her anytime soon, he might even be willing to fall asleep like this.
"Thank you." He whispered when he seemingly calmed down completely. He sounded really tired, just like he indeed was about to fall asleep.
"Maybe if you tried tilting your wrist? That’s what Kuribon seems to think… but she doesn’t have wrists."
"Tilting my wrist? No, I haven’t tried that! Let’s see…" Yuugi walked towards his collected pile of pebbles, selecting the one right on top. He then approached the borderline of the land and lake, and with a suggested tilt of his wrist, Yuugi flicked the pebble at the once peaceful water.
It skipped across the lake twice, before plopping into the water. It wasn’t the world’s greatest accomplishment, but enough for Yuugi to be smiling and proud!
"Wow! I did it~!"
"Don’t leave me."
"Uh--Do I know ya? Are ya lost?"
