Love writing in my little book journal from @oberondesign . I’ve temporarily removed the cover because of the journals heft with the additional ephemera. The box is from @daiso_usa . Those stores have the neatest gadgets. I tried to calm my excitement to purchase everything. I admittedly have too many clear little boxes of all sizes. My niece, when she visits, always asks why I have such a tiny trash can in my room. Cooking everyday for a family with preparation and cleanup is a lot of work. I’m reminded of when I was young and we were a family of 6. Washing clothes, grocery shopping, doing the dishes and cleaning the house was exhausting and time consuming. I’m one to eat in. I enjoy my own cooking. Now that we can’t go out I want everyone to go back to eating out or delivery. Yes, I do mean it! 🤕 . These beautiful covers are handmade by @oberondesign . The wine color was gifted to me over 20 years ago. The stunning sunflower was gifted, from my Mommy, five years ago and the small one I found thrifting. I don’t have a picture of what it looked like when I found it unfortunately, but it was like a dull grey-black color. It was gross really and it was a lot of work to get it to the beauty it is today. It was also rough to the touch, completely dried out. Look at it now! I will say it again, superior quality and craftsmanship will hold up. The leather is thick and the designs don’t flatten with time. These items are pricey, but will last for decades if not generations. Oberon makes many items. Right now I’m eyeing the Bumblebee design.
