No willing/unnecessary changes, no. The thing with Mystic Messenger is that the timeline of events is supremely fucked. Like.. I kept thinking of how bad it is, but it’s literally that confusing. At some point the timeline suggests that Rika was about 15 and V was about 19 when they met, but also Saeran and Saeyoung (who are only 2 years younger than Rika) both looked about 8 when they met the couple that would inevitably Destroy Their Lives.
