this new app objectively sucks. like the dialogue is so butt, it feels like they mischaracterized their own characters and the story is the weakest om has ever produced. it feels weird that the brothers are just cool with mc picking one brother to marry after the previous two games have all established a poly/romance everyone dynamic, and they just act like its cool and they're happy. the individual stories themselves are just so ass like it takes you out of the fantasy its so bad. and bring back the side characters‼️ wdym the angels are just gone? why the fuck is solomon dressed like that? matter of fact why is everyone dressed like that?
people are getting mad about fans criticizing but we are def fair to criticize especially since this app was crowdfunded to begin with and they're trying to get your money with the gacha and shops. like at least try to convince me that this is worth spending any money on and especially in this global economy you've got to be kidding me.

They need to make more ways to gain intimacy besides just tapping them until the gauge fills up then collecting merch. Or at least make it so the stories aren’t locked out because the intimacy level isn’t high enough. The OG at least had the surprise guest feature for home screen and after battles and you gained intimacy from the jobs… They just need to stop it from locking out the stories because what else is there to do on this app?

I never liked Belphegor and the handling of his character. The game builds up the moment where he gets revealed only to abandon the atmosphere. The drama. The conflict. MC gets choked out and the next lesson they all leave it like that? I understand that in order to keep the game more enjoyable they need to make MC’s personality vague and easy to project to but MC could have pushed back, reacted, struggled emotionally and made them all realize how valuable they were. Nothing really sticks. The MC is just… fine? Everyone moves on? That’s such a wasted opportunity.

I miss how absolutely goofy the og game was, i don't hate IDO neccesarily but it feels like it lacks a soul, the chats and the minigames were my favourites, also the fact that we can't be poly kills me
Like, in the first game they could cramp so MUCH dialogue into a story, they were constantly having goofy adventures and it always felt like a comedy show rather than an otome game, wich i loved
Now it feels like they can barely even tell a story in ten chapters, i know the game was rushed and it just came out, it's going to get more content, but it's just...boring!

i know the game just came out and i feel a little bit guilty for already criticizing it but i really, really miss the family dynamics and such of the first games :(
to have mc marry a character and then have the brothers go "YAY!!! anyways on with my day" feels very... not like them? all the brothers have a love for mc whether it's romantic or platonic. it also seemed weird for mammon to not be jealous if mc picked someone other than him? wouldn't all the brothers be devastated if mc didn't pick them, not happy?
which i guess this is kinda invalid if the player originally picked one guy and treated all the others platonically, but, as someone with a poly mc, i didn't do that, and it felt weird to see the brothers treating me like their brother's partner and not their family. idk it was weird and maybe im digging too much into this.

i think i have mixed feelings about the game as most people do. i love the gacha animations and the ui, the music and character-exclusive outfits are okay, but im not too fond of some of the stories i liked levi a lot as a character, i think he's been written really well, same with satan. but mammon's route is the one i got really annoyed with. i know he's supposed to be Greed itself, but theres a difference between being greedy and being straight-up an asshole. it feels like he's gone back to square one with how much he acts insecure, petty and self-deprecating. the story heavily punishes mc for acting rationally. isnt mammon supposed to be the most loyal to mc because of the ENTIRE previous games stories? even in the home screen lines its like this! why is everything so focused on negativity and jealousy? where's the love? it feels like his character development has vanished and i wish things were different. despite all this do NOT go harassing other members of the community for having a different opinion. that should go without saying but holy moly some people need to chill.
