There are pieces and places that I know

And I know you're keeping them locked up in the deepest parts of you until the next time we decide to rip at each other's throats. 

Not a single inch of me is mine. Every part of me belongs to you. Even the parts I hid from you grazed under your wandering arms and pulled them right from beneath my skin. Your hands hold my heart so tightly behind my rib cage I'm afraid I'll crumble to pieces. You squeeze my lungs just enough to steal a few breaths of mine in exchange for the hairs on the back of your neck.

No words could compare to our skin buzzing against each others. Electrified by our hands hiding beneath our clothes.

I've been trying for

months now

and every day it gets worse.

and you keep forgetting

If anything you could call this extraordinary. How can two people communicate without words?  I've said I love you a million times just by moving against you in my sleep.

Even my smell gets carried home with you when you walk out the door.

Last time I saw you, you wrote secrets into the fog in my windows. And with the warm air and the seasons, I sit in my car and breathe in your smell and read our memories across the windshield and remember the idea that you once loved me too. 

Sometimes the souls of my shoes ache so deep that I dont think I'll make it to saturday. And more than all of this, I wish I was there. I rip against your pockets and claw my way so deep you wish I had the strength to let go.

If I miss you had ever been enough I would have torn you apart by now.
