I don't even know.  The past week my internet has been in and out so I've only really been reblogging mostly?  It's weird, I only seem to get hate when I haven't done anything in a while.  Lol.

Yeah, of course.  Sacred and ceremonial stuff should always be off-limits, no matter what culture it's from.  But if I want to wear a lolita kimono or just a casual kimono I should be allowed to.  (I've been lusting after the kimonos at Epcot for years.)  Of course, wearing kimonos or other cultural dress as costumes if you are not from that culture is a problem.  Like, I wouldn't wear one for Halloween.  That's disrespectful.  A culture isn't a "costume."  (The only exception to the "costume rule," is genuine cosplay of a specific character.  But I, personally, wouldn't feel comfortable, for instance, cosplaying Sailor Mars/Hino Rei in her temple maiden attire.  But non-Japanese people who cosplay Inuyasha aren't really being culturally insensitive.  You get the idea.)
