yes hello sorry for late reply i wanted to save some of these asks. i can make this an acronym
M - move. exercise a LOT before the surgery. do workouts for your arms and chest specifically. this will help you feel better reaching for things, moving around in bed, ect during recovery.
I - intoxication. do NOOOOOOT drink or smoke anything during recovery (not even cigarettes, or vapes) i learned this the hard way ๐
C - communicate. make sure you let people know you will not be available for a few weeks. email your employer. text your friends and family to let them know you will not be available. make sure you communicate if you need something as well
E - essentials. make sure you have your essentials by you at all times during your recovery
MICE
honestly i canโt think of anything else for recovery. you can ask more specific questions if youโd like. also JUST LISTEN TO YOUR SURGEON REGARDING AFTERCARE PLEASE I BEG OF YOU. that is is all. love you ๐
