Reasons as to why I'm not continuing GZtale's comic
I've been wanting to talk about how many of you have been asking me to continue the comic. As much as I appreciate your enthusiasm and how much you all miss the AU.
I unfortunately can't continue the comic.
One of the main reasons as to why is because of my schedule. I'm a college student still going through my 3rd semester for my degree. Trying to commit to making comics pages would take a tol on my already busy schedule. :(
Second reason is because of my other projects. I have stated since the very beginning that just because I have ownership of GZtale does not make it my top priority when it comes to making projects. I love the AU. And I feel bad for not making a lot of content to the AU. Which leads me to my final reasoning...
I fear that if I try to make anything 'new' to the story. It wouldn't stay true to the original story. Despite Golzy telling me that I can do whatever I want to the characters, I still want to try and stay true to the characters. But also give my own twist to how the story would've went. I know that a lot of you are very attached to the characters and how they were in the original comic.
Some of you pay attention to the most intricate details to different artworks and have many archives for the comic. I have to admit that I would be the lousiest owner of an AU because I don't know everything about the AU.
I completely understand if you all still want to continue using the comics and Golzy's artworks as canon info to the AU. But I hope you would still keep an open mind to how I write or brainstorm new ideas and content for the story.
Pls don't judge me if I say Mel is an evil character cause it's how I want to write him or how I say Papyrus is an abusive brother who will probably destroy the world after taking all the souls of the humans. 😭 - Nyria
