I love brown eyed Ghost more than anything and genuinely get a bit annoyed whenever he's described with blue eyes lol, but I can begrudgingly accept that he did originally have blue eyes, and I have a headcanon that helps me reconcile the two.

Vitiligo. Vitiligo can manifest as a loss of pigment in the eyes, and doesn't always spread. It can also be triggered by trauma, which lord knows he's experienced more than enough of.

So in my mind Ghost's eyes are mostly brown, but if you got a look up close there'd be flecks of blue and/or a ring around the irises.

got some headcanons tumblr might like

- V1 is a naturally curious being so exploration is something it does absentmindedly, it gets little enjoyment from it really but it doesn't consider it enough of a waste of time to stop doing it

- V1 does have a voice box technically but it's not made for actual conversing, it's for one or two word commands like "Go left." "Retreat." "Fire." things like that

- It has 3 left arms because fuck symmetry

- V1 does know mercy and has spared some although very rarely ask it chooses to not spare them

- It hates humanity for building it and then simply discarding it to be replaced by V2, it doesn't hate V2 per say just their creators. well until V2 actively started going to hunt it down

- V1s entire programming is based on 'preserving life' which it and V2 was able to twist into 'preserving myself' and thus break the rules of robotics

- when not hunched over V1 stands around 170 CM

- it is a bit light sensitive

- V1s tubing that keeps it's blood reserves fresh is extremely sensitive and its prone to freak out when they're reached especially the one that is on its back

- it has optic 'shutters' that is made to remove blood from its optic but it also works to show emotion now, it also emotes with its wings

- V1 is touched starved as fuck, it's sensors immediately registers any touch as something that will lead to damage so it recoils to anything

There's nothing more frustrating then chatting with an xfinity agent via their horrific chat feature (after playing fight the AI bot to get out of the auto generated reply) and having them toss out the "How's your day going?"

Like really? If my day was going well I wouldn't be chatting you you and having you ask me unrelated questions is not helping any.

It's so funny being on the fandom side of Call of Duty while having a brother who's on the actual gameplay side. We just had a long conversation about the competition between Battlefield and CoD, and the merits of each franchise, and he said he's been leaning more into Battlefield these days because of the mechanics.

I told him I liked CoD more since I watch cutscene movies and haven't played through any of the games myself in years, so technical mechanics don't matter to me. And he just looked at me and said "So, which of the men got to you then? I'm guessing Price or Ghost."

Lately my anxiety has been manifesting as a serious fear of the dark even though I've never been afraid of it before, and an overwhelming feeling of someone in my house watching me, and it's been making it much harder to sleep

But recently I've been trying this thing where whenever I think I hear a noise or see something out of the corner of my eye I tell myself "It's just Simon checking the house for me" AND IT WORKS

Instantly feel better everytime, just imagining him walking around my house, checking doors and windows, making sure I'm safe, and then I just fall asleep like that
