Two years ago I was at NYC Comic Con and got to tote this bad boy staff around. I never posted all of the process pics I had of making this beast. It's the first and only time since that I've done something like this, but I really want to do it again someday. I used a branch I found in the yard, stripped the bark, sprayed expanding foam on it, shaped it, paper mache and paper mache clay. Then sanded that to finish it with spray paint.
