He can't deny that there was a flash of curiosity before there was relief. Maybe even the slight panic. Even he can get complacent with the lack of reliable and consistent professionalism in the media. A specialty Gotham in itself tends to pride on.

But then again - the crimson speedster was hardly one within the usual suspects.

His tongue sweeps over his lips thoughtfully. Brows furrowing as if deeply giving it thought. It would make Barry's life a little less cumbersome for a week. Or two. Eventually, he nods. Appearing as if he was agreeing.

" I suppose I could be. No one has ever seen me and the Flash in the same room...How about I leave it at that. "

     Head cocked on the side, Dinah’s blue eyes roamed the young lady’s features with confusion.     “ Are you hurt ?”   She then asked, and offered her hand out for the other to take it so she could pull her out of that hole.     “Not to be pessimistic... but it seems like you’ve been kidnapped kiddo... abducted ?”    Canary frowned a little,     “If someone took you against your will, and then locked you in... then that’s an abduction.”   It was unclear if the girl was understanding her words or not, but Dinah was there to help them nonetheless. 

most of gotham’s problems stay in gotham. that city is like a quarantine zone for its own particular kind of disease, isolated from the rest of the country by batman’s efforts to keep it contained. but every once in a while something or someone leaks out and goes somewhere else. probably looking for better luck or easier prospects. and they would probably find them---if they didn’t decide to pick the city where a hawk has taken up residence.

shayera---hawkwoman---looks the girl over. as far as crimes go, this is a pretty petty one. something the police would normally handle. but the problem is that she’s bored, which means she’s the one handling it. unfortunately for...whoever this is.

“ depends, ” she answers with a shrug before cracking her knuckles. “ how hard do you want to make my afternoon? ”

edward  looked  down  at  the  catnip  then  back  at  her  with  a  raised  brow,  what  use  would  he  have  for  catnip?  he  didn't  own  a  cat...?  not  that  he  was  against  the  idea,  however,  his  particular  style  of  life  prevents  him  from  owning  any  pets...  besides  the  occasional  crocodile  pit,  that  is.
