Ⓢtranger on the Ǥrass // @nxceo
The morning air was crisp as the sun slowly rose on the horizon, the dampness of the fog condensed into dewdrops on grass as the rays of sunshine flitted over the city. It was exactly 6.35am when the light seeped through a gap in his curtain and hit him in the face. Kyungsoo whined and rolled in his bed, blanket unraveling from their burrito-like structure around the hybrid. When the light only got brighter, he sat up with a frown on his face, displeasure coursing through his veins when he realized he was free to roam on the frost covered grass before it melted.
Throwing his clothes off in a hurry, Kyungsoo washed up and made his way down to breakfast in record time. He opted for a piece of toast with nutella, seeing as he preferred holding it his hand as he dashed out the door, his boots stomping it's tracks through the crystallized water. He turned to walk backwards, looking at how his footprints looked in the grass; a dark patch contrasting to the white, frost covered leaves around it.
He had just spun around again, the last of his toast shoved into his mout, when he tripped over something big. Kyungsoo groaned and sat up, rubbing away the wet spots of dew on his clothes and laughed when he spotted a human shaped imprint in the grass. He looked over his shoulder, about to go off at the gardener for leaving something so dangerously big on the lawn when he spotted the body of a man at his feet.
Kyungsoo froze, staring at the unmoving body intently before poking it with his foot. When there was no response, he leaned over and checked his pulse. It was beating but his skin was cold and wet from the morning fog, his clothes damn and bloody. Kyungsoo threw his jacket over the man before calling out to the gardener who helped him carry the man inside and to a spare bedroom. He hoped the man survives and that he wasn't some serial killer that will murder them all, and as he wiped the man's face with a warm towel, Kyungsoo prayed to the gods that he wakes up soon.
