Today I’m reviewing Midnight in Everwood by M.A. Kuzniar. This is one of the best fairytale retellings I’ve ever read: It’s a cerebral feast for the senses! There are numerous allusions to literature, ballet, and art throughout, and perhaps the most effective ones are the allusions to Degas’ art. If you love fairytales, stories with strong female characters, beautiful language, and visual descriptions that will literally make you sigh, then you will enjoy Midnight in Everwood.
