I have my clinical skills exam this afternoon.
I know what I have to do , and I'm pretty confident about it.
But my nerves and second guessing as kicked in, and all I can think about is stuffing up one section out of all of it and that's what is making me so stressed.
My last clinical exam was on oral medications and wound dressing, and I passed that. This one is IV fluid, IMI, and IV bolus, and all I can think about is getting a bubble or bubbles while priming in the line.
I do this at work already, the fact that I have assessors there just makes me jumpy.
Any advice from fellow nurses at all?
Fellow nurses, nursing students;
Do you have any good study tips? I have a clinical skills exam next week, and I'm stressing out over the little things (ie; actually reporting what I'm doing to the supervising RN)
And I also have a few exams after that coming up. Are there any techniques that you use that I could use as well?
Obviously social media is out of the question, and I've already set it up so I'm not on during the exam period.
So basically I'm asking for study techniques, tips, help, things you do during exam time :D
I FUCKING PASSED THE NURSING MATHS QUIZ!!
SUCK IT!
