         Five a.m. dreaming at noon, dreaming out the windows, eyes open  &  doors unlocked. Chopin’s nocturnes on repeat as if Hikaru can somehow fill this cavity with moonlight in the form of a song. Hikaru feels like a dozen tectonic plates always shifting, never at rest. Ther’s a chasm between his ribs  &  it has a name.

Jun’s pace is sedated as he walks the nearly empty campus, sunlight streaking the sky. He had to wake up early in order to study for his quirk assessment test - his right arm still wasn’t fully functional, but that didn’t mean he could just skip the test altogether. A faint thump draws Jun’s attention upward - eyes bleary and red rimmed from lack of sleep, he almost misses the small lump that falls onto the pavement in front of him. He quickly leans down to pick it up, and hurry toward it’s owners fleeing back.

"Oi, Hisakawa-senpai, you dropped something.”
