⧠⧠⧠ NIGHTLIFE HAD NEVER BEEN SOMETHING THAT HAD ATTRACTED JAE yet somehow he finds himself in a place with dim lighting that would probably cause some eye damage for straining your eyes so much. A place with music that was too loud that would probably damage your hearing. A place that had no concept of personal space so if one person was sick, everyone in here was going to wake up sick tomorrow. Jae was beating himself off for agreeing to celebrate the birthday of the fellow intern, it had started with dinner at a nice place but it escalated to this and it made Jae want to drop dread. He leaned against the bar and pulled out his phone and texted the only person he really wanted to deal with. His friends call him over to the dance floor and with a smile he shook his head and held his phone up, silently letting them know he was doing something.Â
⧠⧠â§Â He decided to face the bar fully and actually order something, but that was kind of impossible when Jae was almost positive that bar tender was ignoring him on purpose. He was about to yell when someone came from behind him and manage to do what he couldnât, get the bartenderâs attention. He looked over his shoulder to see a man that was probably not that much older than him. When this stranger was placing his order he looked at Jae in a pointed way so he could also order now â oh! Sorry, Iâll have a vodka sour thanks â Jae said to the bartender before turning to the stranger â Are you like a bartender siren because that guy just kept looking right pass me. Seriously you were standing behind me and he saw you, it was literally right pass me â Jae spoke enthusiastically, as he tends to do, and offered his bright smile to the stranger that had shown kindness. His words made the stranger laugh, and when the drinks he also payed for both their drinks ignoring Jaeâs insistence on buying his own drink. Jae was glad he had found such a nice person who seemed to have the same sense of humor because he laved at every ridiculous thing Jae said. But things started to turn weird, and Jae wasnât sure if the interaction had always been like this or he just started to notice. But the stranger began to drop the words âcuteâ and âadorableâ more and more and it was always accompanied by some touch. Jae does not mind physical contact but this one felt different or maybe it was the alcohol getting to him as Jae was in fact a light weight. Jae thought, it was time to abort â Thank you for keeping me company, I was having fun but- Wow! â Jae should not finish the sentence for he was too busy dodging the lips of the stranger. Jae moved to avoid him which ending in pushing someone slightly, Jae quickly apologized and looked back at the stranger. Who, again, called him sute and reassured Jae he didnât have to be scared, that it was okay. He did this while pulling Jae closer â I have a boyfriend! â Jae yelled, making sure the other could hear it but the otherâs response was âthatâs nice, but I donât know him you wonât have to worry about me telling himâ which only sent Jae in a panic. He pulled his arm from the otherâs grasp with little success. Fuck, Jae thought, why does that idiot have to be ripped and why do I have to be such a whimp. â Please, sir, just let go. I wanna go now â
