#nun2

I didn't get a chance to do this earlier but Last Tuesday (Sept 12) we did go and see the next terrifying chapter in the Conjuring Universe which is of course the Nun 2.

I was very excited to go and see this being I do enjoy the Conjuring series and the Universe that it created and I would have to say I did enjoy this one also

I would say the movie starts off with a bang or maybe it had more of a fiery start considering what happens at the very beginning This one takes place a few years after the events of the original Nun movie and the horrors that were faced in the monastery in Romania and the survivors of those events have moved on with their lives, until things start happening as word reaches the church that killings have been happening and they reach out to Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) for help believing that the Evil from the monastery in Romania some how returned and she with the help of Sister Debra (Storm Reid) must find and stop the Nun once and for all not knowing that it is her friend Maurice aka Frenchie (Jonas Bloquet) who was possessed during their adventure in Romania and is responsible for the killings becasue the Nun is using his body So the Sisters must find the evil and stop it for good or can they?

Now like I said I thought the movie was great and I feel that it was very close to the original in terms of tone and aesthetic. It is very dark and creepy and amazingly atmospheric when it wants to or needs to be. There is also a bit of a mystery to this one as well but in all it is a really cool movie I felt it kept me interested and a lil bit on the edge of my seat there is some good jumps in it also. The visuals are really good also one of the best scenes in the movie is the magazine rack in the alleyway that Sister Irene comes across I think you see a bit of it in one of the trailers but watching the whole scene is good I loved how they did that And of course the Nun herself is a absolutely terrifying presence but one of the things I was a bit disappointed about was the Goat man/demon in the movie you don't get a really good look at him at least I didn't think you did he was a bit of a crazy creature but he just kinda scurries around. I mean he is cool and terrifying in the movie but I'm the type that likes to see the creature designs.

but over all I enjoyed the movie I thought it was great and if you enjoyed the previous Nun and the rest of the Conjuring Universe like I do then you'll probably enjoy this one too.
