It is no secret ( at least amongst her fellow Guild members ) that Erza has quite the sweet - tooth, with delicacies that include strawberries being her favourite. Strawberry cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, strawberry tarts, you name it, she absolutely loves it. Obviously she will try not to consume at a huge quantity since she wants to maintain a healthy physique that she has worked hard for. But her desire to have a bite of her preferable delights overtakes rationality quite frequently.

But her, baking one herself?

Absolutely no.

If there's one thing that she is the absolute worst is cooking and baking. Such craftmanship is something she will never hold great mastery in, no matter how much she tries. She is definitely one of those people that upon giving a try to a recipe she found, she would rather add the ingredients with her own take of measurements, ( saying stuff like: just measure it with the eye, comes with experience ) obviously resulting to a catstrophic sight of a kitchen. Used bowls everywhere, frosting smeared all over her apron ( and mind you, she has a few aprons ), smoke coming out of the oven. And worst part? She is delusional about it. Whilst she will never say that she is an expert in said field, she firmly believes that she has her own fair share of experience that resulted in gaining average skills. ( again, that's what she believes )

And usually her attempts will look like something came out of a nightmare in terms of appearance. And as for the taste? Don't even bother questioning or even trying. Same applies for cooking. Worst part is her trying to bake something as a gift for someone and waiting for them to try in anticipation, waiting to see a reaction. And if it is someone from the Guild, best believe they will eat her ' attempt ' in front of her, since she will give them no other choice.

So, the best thing for her to do is purchase meals / sugary stuff to consume, rather than making them herself. One of the people that she trusts with her eyes closed and both hands above fire is definitely Mirajane Strauss.

In all honesty, Laxus didn't really get the chance to engage in various activities in order to find his preferential ones. Due to the fact that he didn't have a good childhood all because of the implantation of the lacrima in his head, followed by a set of calloused training --- all of it stems from his father, Ivan, he didn't get the opportunity to experience what could be considered a normal childhood. And no matter how much Makarov tried to make it up for it, it still wasn't enough since the damage was already done.

But slowly, going through adolescence Laxus started coming out of his shell a bit more. I think it also started with his discovering his strong liking towards music. Ever since he purchased those headphones ( and mind you, they were expensive so he was saving up money after accomplishing missions ) he wouldn't stop listening to music, since it helps him cast aside any problems that he has even if it is for a short amount of time. Not to mention it was quite relaxing to him but that also depends on the songs that he was listening to. He is a big fan of classic rock 'n roll music. Guns 'n Roses was his favourite band at the time ( and still remains as oe of his favourite bands ). But to return back to the topic --- music helped him a lot. Hence, he wanted to dive deeper into this and so;

He started collecting vinyls.

He didn't collect them for the sake of listening music through them since, as already mentioned above, he had his distinguished headphones. It's just that the whole concept of having vinyls at your own space, decorating them in a way that would capture your attention, was appealing to him. And back in the day, Laxus wasn't known ( and still isn't let's be real ) for his socialization skills, so to him this was his escapade. Hence, his room was filled with vinyls when he was still living with his grandfather but when he moved out to live on his own, he was able to divide them and decorate his living room and bedroom accordingly. Not too overbearing yet enough to catch your attention and make you question about them.

( though the thing is, Laxus wouldn't invite just anyone at his place, only those he trusts the most. )

Then he met the Raijinshuu, his teammates. Of course that didn't alter his love for vinyls but upon meeting them, it certainly brightened up a bit his horizons, opening doors for further explorations. However, one of the things that he was absolutely certain he will never attain mastery in, was cooking. Leave that to Freed.

╳┆Midday has never been his favorite time to travel. The night sky is a map he can easily follow, but the bright open blue — it is amorphous and directionless. Clouds are constantly moving, losing their integrity, joining up with others of their like. Utterly undependable.

It doesn't help that this town is built like a maze. So much of the architecture is cookie-cutter, each dwelling identical to the next, and the longer he wanders, the more he feels like he's seen these same exact buildings before. To make matters worse, not one of these establishments have their numbers on display. Is it some kind of illusion? Some kind of trap?
