I am mad about a white male telling my friends and I that our generation, the "Born Frees", do not experience racism and that we are not affected by Apartheid.
Where we you when my classmate called my best friends and I the k*****s and my school did absolutely nothing about it? Where were you when a white teacher constantly told me to straighten my Afro, get rid of it or hide it because that bitch found my hair inappropriate??
I may not be experiencing racism the way my parents, grandparents and so on experienced it but my generation bares the brunt our grandparents and parents had to pay.
I'm so damn mad.
