Noah made his way into town in his new car. Another perk of his lifestyle now. He was on the up, but this was his hometown, and heâd never forget it. It held so many memories that he would never let himself forget it. He slowed down as he drove towards his destination, glancing at all the buildings that held all of these memories so dear to him. He parked his car outside his old house, his family still lived here, he just didnât, he made to make his way inside, glancing across the street at the only other house that mattered. Sure he was here to see his family, but he was also here to see her. He looked up at his old house before walking back down the path and across the street. It wasnât like he hadnât seen her in forever, in fact heâd never lost contact and heâd text her just yesterday to let her know he was coming back into town, telling her she needed to free her calendar for the next few days because he was desperate to see her and he wanted to go to all of their old hangouts. He knew she was still with him, was almost certain she lived with him, but he couldnât be sure. He must admit it was the only thing she ever talked about that he didnât listen to. Heâd never got on with him, hated him in high-school, but had always put on an act for her sake. When he finally got to her door, a smile spread across his face as he reached for the knocker and rapped it against the door.
