The dusty air in the ruins made her throat dry and she felt like she needed to cough whenever a new time-door opened before them, letting them even deeper in the ruins in order to find the murals they were desperately searching for, but neither knew the ruins in these parts now and so Fang let her go first for once, trusting Lightning in her “magical Savior powers” - as she had called them - for finding the right way. When Lightning tilted her head to look if Fang was still close to her, their eyes briefly met and Fang quickly avoided the eye contact, scratching her head as reaction because she didn’t want her to know that she actually had her eyes on her all the time.They had unspoken terms, feelings that they pushed down inside them for the sake of their current circumstances, but for the time being they enjoyed their time together in the Dead Dunes while one of them tried to save humanity.

Hmm let’s see about the sequel :D I will definitely look into it when I finished the rest of my other things then. I mean ... we all wanna know how Seven will react when Sice gives her the present right? :D
