Top 5 Figures of Greek Myth?
Or
Top 5 Oomfies?
Only going with mortals or demigods to not be too biased towards the Olympians.
Heracles. Come the fuck on, look at him. Look at him. If I can recommend you a single comic/graphic novel about him, it's Herakles by Edouard Cour. It's a solid adaptation of Heracles' myths and sums up everything I LOVE about the guy.
Odysseus. Come the fuck on, look at him. Look at him.
Circe. We loves witches in this house and I think she's an interesting character who deserves so much better (UNRELATED IMAGE OF MADELINE MILLER)
Medea. I think women deserve everything. As a treat.
Hector-Achilles ex aequo with Hector slightly being above Achilles. I believe these two characters shine best as narrative and ideological foils. The parallels and antitheses... They're all there. They're all so good. In general, the Iliad gets really good when you notice the fact that pretty much every character can bounce off to another character as their narrative foil, but with Hector and Achilles you get SO much material you could ramble about for days.
BONUS: Orion, but honestly i put him here because FGO made him look so cool and awesome. And then the actual mythology figure fucking sucks.
