Today I’m feeling a bit emotional. Our baby girl got proposed to last night. It’s such a scary feeling to think of her as an adult and yet we know we have raised such a beautiful, caring, thoughtful, trusting woman we know she will have an amazing life. And her partner is an amazing young soul who has grown so much in the two years we have known him. Their relationship has been beautiful to watch blossom and I know they feel safe to come to us when they experience any lows and can ask for help if they need it. And of course it reflected back to me about my relationship with my husband. . My husband and I have started saying “I Love you” less and “I Choose you” more. . Why? . Because for us love is a given. All day every day. Loving each other is what happens naturally. Some days more than others. Some days it takes a lot more work to feel the love. . Choosing each other feels so much more in alignment with how we feel. . Because every minute of every day we get to choose. We can choose each other or we can choose others. In the moments where we may not feel the unabiding love we still choose each other. . The love word gets thrown around so much by any and everyone. Some people attach things that really don’t feel good in my bones to the word love. Perhaps this is why saying I choose you resonates more deeply with me currently. . Don’t get me wrong. I love LOVE. . And I love choosing. . Our relationship relies on our freedoms. So to say to each other I choose you it brings with it a deeper connection for us. . Having the power of free will gives the power of choosing limitless potential. . I choose you. Forever and Always. . And as long as my daughter and her partner remember that too then I know they will have a long and beautiful life together too. ❤️ . PS there’s those sunbeams again hehe . . . #strongwithoutrealising #chooselove #lovelove #daughterisgettingmarried #nowimold https://www.instagram.com/p/B27cqTnpNSr/?igshid=ohc2m1422y85
